Family Tree Bio

This up and coming group consist of two Mc’s and Producers, Brandon White known as Branue Born in Silver Springs MD, Shane Hampton known as Adroit and Nathaniel Jenkins, known as DJ NRJ . Both born and raised from the city of Pittsburgh. These young men have gone through some early maturing through their years. Even though when times got tough, nothing had really killed their spirit. Living conditions in their very own environment had pushed them to mature faster than many. Motivation is what stood out for them to strive with all their heart and to continue to make positive music. Brandon and Shane have been friends since middle school both were very active in sports and school activities also having the love of music and poetry in heart. They are hip hop artist who incorporates a variety of diverse sounds and illustrative lyrics to tell a story through his music. Their passion for rap developed back in the 90’s as the listened to cassettes of 2Pac, Biggie Smalls, A Tribe Called Quest, Common, Mos Def, 9th wonder, Talib Kweli, N.E.R.D and many more. During middle school, they began to expressive their creative talent by writing in their notebook as a way for freedom to their mind. Leading into their sophomore year, Shane & Brandon teamed up with Clenton, aka Mastermind , and over the remaining years of high school, the duo came to be known as the TFC, or the Too Fresh Click. The group utilized the sampling of outrageous sounds, much like Brandon and Shane’s personal favorite, Kanye West. Which have made an impact to produce an unreleased mixtape titled True Statements. After miscommunication in a way of wanting to try solo experience on Clenton’s behalf, the group split after highs school, but the two have remained close, both as artists and friends. This lesson has taught Brandon and Shane in many ways at the young age. Currently as they had never held no grudge after that break up. Shane and Brandon have reunited this time with a friend of the family that Nate, and formed their new group Family Tree, Which they all truly look at another like brothers no matter the situation. Nate known as DJ NRJ, have a great resume full of events and what he have done over 17 years as a producer and turn table monster. To this group the art of music is beauty to this group, developing their very own poetry over the sweet sound of different instrumentals. The path of hip hop right now is mostly now than what they grew up on. This will never change their development of their art. The stage presence they deliver brings you to flash back from the great in the past like to De La Soul, Beastie Boys, and plenty more. Family Tree’s career is constantly developing each day from music to their own clothing apparel. So please stay tuned for the eclectic sounds and imagistic lyrics of their upcoming singles, videos and albums.
